LeoLabs

LeoLabs operates a global network of ground-based phased-array radars across North America, Oceania, Europe, and Central America to track objects in low Earth orbit. The company deploys S-band radars for high-precision tracking of centimeter-scale debris and next-generation UHF-band systems, including the Seeker and Scout platforms, for wide-area search and detection. Fixed radar sites operate in Texas, Alaska, New Zealand, Western Australia, the Azores, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Arizona. LeoLabs processes radar data through its Vertex cloud platform to deliver real-time orbital tracking, conjunction assessment, and collision avoidance services via API. Scout, a truck-mounted expeditionary radar system, enables rapid deployment to strategic regions.

LeoLabs provides space domain awareness and space traffic management as-a-service to commercial satellite operators, defense agencies, civil government bodies, and insurance providers. The company maintains contracts with the U.S. Space Force, Japan Ministry of Defense, and supports the U.S. Department of Commerce's Traffic Coordination System for Space initiative. Founded in 2016 as a spin-out from SRI International, LeoLabs is headquartered in Menlo Park, California, and operates approximately 125 to 130 personnel.
