ArianeGroup

ArianeGroup is a 50/50 joint venture between Airbus and Safran, founded in 2015 and headquartered near Paris with major operations in Germany. The company serves as lead contractor for the Ariane family of European launchers and manufactures France's M51 submarine-launched ballistic missile. It employs approximately 8,700 people and conducts launch services through its subsidiary Arianespace. The first launch of its next-generation Ariane 6 vehicle occurred on 9 July 2024.
