Arianespace operates the Ariane 6 medium-to-heavy-lift launcher and the Vega C light-lift launcher from the Guiana Space Centre in Kourou, French Guiana. Founded in 1980 as the first commercial launch service provider, the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of ArianeGroup, a joint venture between Airbus and Safran. Arianespace manages mission integration and orbital delivery for institutional clients including ESA, the European Commission, and CNES, as well as commercial operators such as Amazon for Project Kuiper.
Ariane 6 is available in two configurations: the Ariane 62 with two P120C solid boosters and the Ariane 64 with four, covering medium to heavy multi-satellite deployments. Arianespace also offers rideshare services for both Ariane 6 and Vega C.
