Deep Blue Aerospace
Develops reusable liquid-fueled launch vehicles and kerosene rocket engines for commercial orbital and suborbital launch services
Deep Blue Aerospace is a Chinese commercial launch vehicle developer founded in 2016. The company focuses on reusable liquid-fueled rockets powered by liquid oxygen and kerosene engines, with the goal of reducing launch costs through first-stage vertical recovery and reuse. Its flagship Nebula-1 is a two-stage rocket capable of delivering 2 tons to low Earth orbit, while the larger Nebula-2 targets 25 tons to LEO. Both vehicle lines use Thunder-series engines with 3D-printed components and pintle injector technology. Deep Blue Aerospace has conducted multiple vertical takeoff and vertical landing test flights in the Gobi Desert and is preparing for its first orbital launch attempt.
